Follow these directions on how to melt your Peters Chocolate for candy making:

When using your Peters Chocolate for melting follow these directions. In a microwave safe container, put approximately 1/3 pound of candy melts in a bowl. Place your microwave @ 50% power for 1 minute and stir. Continue to microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until candy melts are melted. If your microwave only has high and defrost settings use your defrost setting to melt the chocolate. Never use a glass bowl to melt your chocolate in the microwave. It will continue cooking and ruin your chocolate.
